In honor of living in the wine country, I have made a beautiful Zinfandel Jelly. They grow a lot of Zinfandel up here in this heat. The weekend of July 4, we found a great little winery, which we became members of. It is very special place. At the wine pick up party they had great food, fun music and of course wine tasting. We got to taste some wines out of the wine barrel and preorder cases at a discount. Can’t wait to get my cases. The winery is called D’art in Lodi. Back to the jelly, it has a wonderful deep red color and makes an amazing appetizer. I like it on crackers or some rustic french bread topped with brie cheese. It’s also good on ice cream too.
All In A Jar has been asking to come back and teach a class at Ace Hardware store in Alamo in their beautiful gourmet kitchen. I will be teaching three recipes getting you ready for the holidays.
The three recipes will be
